Kar's 11th birthday!
Since Peter and Faye and kiddos were leaving on the 23rd, we decided to have an earlier birthday celebration for Kar. It was his idea to begin with! We went to Jungle Bungle with all the kids, and they had a great blast. Then we came home to a pizza dinner and then a chocolate cake, selected by Kar, special chocolate cake. Next time I will share the recipe with you. As you can see, I'm still learning about using a blog. We wish you were all here, but I pray that the pictures will make you feel part of this time. Kar really enjoyed all the notes he got from you today. It made it extra special as he was having a hard time with his allergy and had to rest, so your birthday wishes were extra special! Thank you!

Corwin and his other uncle!
Can you imagine Corwin has 20 uncles and aunties, 12 aunties and 8 uncles! It was cute hearing him upon arrival calling the boys Uncle Kareem and uncle Khaled. He loves them to pieces and already few days ago, he was saying that he missed them when they were not around. One day, he was calling, "where's my other uncle" when he couldnt remember Kareem's name! His parents were sharing with him that soon they are going back home, and he was saying, will uncles come with us too? And when they told him, no, he said, he wanted to be with them forever! He's a very sweet boy, and he has a good sense of humor. You're sure to have a good laugh at the things he says when you're around him!
